Automotive Artificial Intelligence (AAI) GmbH is an innovative technology company that was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Berlin. Our goal at AAI is to make the development of highly automated driving safer and more efficient. We specialize in developing our own software solutions, including the simulation platform AAI Replicar, and offer related services such as data labeling.

Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Representative with a strong background in software sales and a keen interest in automotive engineering. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and a willingness to travel extensively to engage with clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets within the automotive engineering sector.
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts and prospects within the target market, leveraging market research and industry insights to drive sales opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and executives, to understand their software needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our software solutions, highlighting their benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of software solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field; MBA or technical degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in software sales, preferably within the automotive engineering or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of software solutions and technologies, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to client sites, industry events, and trade shows as needed.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in German as well as English.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
