Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Representative with a strong background in software sales and a keen interest in automotive engineering. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and a willingness to travel extensively to engage with clients and prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets within the automotive engineering sector.
- Identify and prioritize key accounts and prospects within the target market, leveraging market research and industry insights to drive sales opportunities.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and executives, to understand their software needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our software solutions, highlighting their benefits and competitive advantages.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of software solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field; MBA or technical degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in software sales, preferably within the automotive engineering or related industries.
- Strong understanding of software solutions and technologies, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively to client sites, industry events, and trade shows as needed.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in German as well as English.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
